Senior Technician – Clifton Park, NY
Job Overview:
Our technicians perform hands-on technical services for residential, commercial, and municipal pumps, controls, battery backup systems (uninterruptable power supplies), and pump-related plumbing. Work is performed indoors, outdoors, and in an office setting.

Experience Requirements
- Verifiable experience repairing and servicing Environment One grinder pumps in a field service environment
- Minimum 5 years experience performing wastewater pump field service
- Management/mentorship experience

- Mechanical and electrical experience and the ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to use a cell phone and PC, including Microsoft Office suite
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assisted.
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics
- Possess a High School diploma
- Must participate in on-call rotation
- Must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as a drug test
- Must maintain an active, REAL ID compliant driver's license with a clean driving record, or a valid U.S. passport, as required for access to federal facilities
Scope of Responsibility
- Pumps and controls — installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Scheduling, quoting, and communicating with key accounts
- Prepare and maintain clear and accurate documentation for assigned work
- Create process improvements to improve workflow, time management, and ease/thoroughness of documentation
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and suppliers
- Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and shop upgrades
- Attend training classes
- Understand and adhere to all safety-related policies, rules, and guidelines
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service
- Perform all other duties as assigned
