Quattro

Quattro

Option

Like the MultiPlus, the Quattro is a combined inverter and charger. it can accept two AC inputs and automatically connects to the active source. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology plus multiple system integration features such as three or split phase operation and parallel operation.

With two AC Inputs the Quattro can be connected to two AC sources, for example Grid power, and a generator.

The primary output on the Quattro has “No-Break functionality” and essentially works like an uninterruptable power supply. In the event of Input failure (loss of the grid / generator) the Quattro will switch over to battery power (in under 20 milliseconds) quickly enough that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to function without disruption.
The Secondary output is active only when an AC input is live. This allows you to connect nonessential items that you would prefer not drain your battery.

  • The Quattro offers a unique two stage PowerAssist feature:
  1. In the event of an overload the Quattro will first reduce charging to keep power consumption below the overload level.
  2. The Second stage if overload cannot be avoided otherwise the Quattro will pull power from the battery bank to supplement the AC power.
  • Virtually limitless power thanks to Parallel operation.:
    • Up to 6 Quattros can operate in parallel to achieve higher power
    • Three phase and split phase operation also possible.

Remote monitoring and control enabled:

  • When coupled with a GX device you can monitor and control your Quattro and system locally.
  • Control and monitor remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM portal. Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC.

Victron’s naming system describes the system's stats based on its design.
